Are you looking for a new beginning? A fresh start in your self-care?
Does your life feel like one continuous cycle? You don’t know where certain things end and you begin.
It is easy to get stuck in the continuous routine of our daily lives that it often becomes difficult to know what it is like to experience more. More than just existing to work, take care of your home, take care of others. You want and need to more for your own self-love.
Yet, you may not know where to begin. How do you get unstuck?
Maybe life hit you hard with the pandemic. You may have become completely isolated, lost a job or worse yet, lost a loved one.
Whatever the situation was that led you down this path, it is time for a refresh! It is time for that new beginning that you crave.
This is why I so love holidays like New Year’s Day or the beginning of a new season. We get to begin again. We get a do over.
Yet, we often beat ourselves up if we don’t live up to our “resolutions” and we quit.
We feel like we’ve failed yet again and we just go back to our old negative patters for caring for ourselves.
DO NOT let this be YOU today.
It is time for some self-care.
It is time for self-compassion and self-love.
This month, I created a self-care challenge titled “April Showers Bring May Flowers” in hopes of getting you motivated in getting out of your old ways and begin anew.
The challenge is filled with a new daily tip for self-care. It is not meant to be something that causes you more stress in feeling obligated to fulfil everything indicated on there, but instead it is meant to help you try new things for yourself.
The self-care challenge should be a time of exploration in getting to know what actions bring you peace and joy. You can go ahead and commit to the entire month of doing every tip indicated on the planner or you can pick and choose which actions you want to take and schedule those in your calendar.
I urge you to not shy away from a daily challenge that you may think is not for you, but to instead, try to get out of your comfort zone and at least try it out.
I myself, did not think Yoga would ever be a thing for me, but now I cannot live without doing my daily yoga practice first thing in the morning.
The challenge includes simple one-step self-care tips that can be easily done to improve your well-being, but please know that there is so much more out there that can be done to bring wellness into your self-care routine.
Go ahead and draw a line between the showers of your past and allow for the flowers within you to bloom today.
If you so choose to follow along and take part of this challenge, please feel free to share your experiences with me on instagram. Would love to hear your experiences!
You can download the challenge by clicking here.
Now go out there and don’t forget to be your most beautiful self!
Elizabeth 🙂
